WE ARE FILMING FOR HUMANITY
Our initiative, Filming for Humanity, was inspired by the power of art to motivate, spark compassion, and reach out to connect people. A venture which pairs our natural artistic passion and talents with our drive for generosity, the initiative endeavours to transform and improve the lives of others and to make the world a better place. Each video is a unique creative project inspired by a specific chosen charity, and it is that charity to whom we will donate all the proceeds from the video, as well as providing advertisement for the wonderful work that they do. This is a service we provide entirely for free: we do not charge for our videos, and we encourage charities to reach out to us if they require help or promotion of any kind, as we would be more than happy to oblige!
Filming for Humanity is a UK-based non-profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness about important social causes through the power of film.
Our mission revolves around four key pillars:
1) Supporting Charities: We collaborate with charities, helping them tell their stories through film and increasing visibility for their causes.
2) Empowering Artists: We provide a platform for talented artists, actors, and musicians to showcase their skills and passion, giving them the opportunity to contribute to social change through their art.
3) We actively support the communities and local businesses involved in our film projects, bringing to life the unique stories behind the locations we feature across London, England, and the UK. Our work ensures they benefit from the exposure and opportunities that come with each production.
4) Championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: As a DEI-focused organisation, we are committed to ensuring that women and underrepresented minorities are given a voice and a presence both in front of and behind the camera, promoting a more inclusive film industry.
To date, we have produced four impactful films addressing mental health, domestic violence, and drunk driving. These projects exemplify our dedication to tackling pressing social issues.
Our innovative business model operates on a redistribution principle: we charge larger organisations (those with an annual revenue exceeding £100,000) and use those funds to create films for smaller charities, enabling them to raise awareness at no cost.
We are always eager to hear from charities in need of film or marketing assistance, as well as from organisations willing to support our mission. By working together, we can continue to create powerful films that drive positive social change.
